“Planning for language development for clients who use AAC can feel like a daunting task. This course will help you to identify and target desired outcomes. The presenters will explore how to identify current language levels as well as how to develop a plan to address continued language growth with the use of speech-generating devices. This will be a hands-on learning experience with Unity, a Minspeak language system as the presenters take you through the stages of language development, providing focused language-learning activities and intervention strategies. However, the principles will apply to all robust AAC solutions.”
