Back for the 2nd year, Karanveer’s monthly AAC group social meetings are a consistent way to connect AAC users, their families and providers in a fun interactive video chat environment! Karanveer is an expert and very social AAC user who provides a friendly online forum to support AAC users and their families during hybrid learning and at home. We have a topic for each session as well as a conversation starter questions but Karanveer is flexible to allow space for each AAC user and/or family members to share their feelings, experiences and ideas with the group. Karanveer will be ready to answer any questions from the participants and plan future sessions based on the needs and interested expressed by the group. Learning Objectives:
1. Increase knowledge and use of AAC to support social participation.
2. Discuss relevant topics related to AAC such as access methods, programming devices and integrating device into everyday life.
