Volunteering with NWACS

NWACS runs completely on volunteer power. NWACS Volunteers have been working for almost 50 years to raise awareness of AAC in our community. Being active with NWACS is a great way to get involved with our AAC community, gain experience, and network. Not to mention spend time with fun, like-minded people! Volunteers assist with:

  • our annual conference,

  • writing blog posts,

  • developing content for the website, resources, and YouTube,

  • community outreach,

  • events for professionals and families,

  • committees,

  • special projects,

  • and much more!

UPCOMING EVENTS

Volunteer meetups are a time when current and future volunteers can get together and talk about volunteer opportunities, meet other volunteers, and discuss all things AAC. Volunteer meetups are currently held virtually over Zoom. Please join us for a meetup with no obligation to volunteer!

Check back for information on future Volunteer meetups.

Interested in getting involved? You don’t have to wait for a Volunteer meeting! Contact Alison by emailing info@nwacs.info (or use the form below).
