“Many therapists and teachers have struggled to integrate AAC into their classrooms successfully. We ask ourselves: how do I integrate LAMP and academics in order to help my students express themselves and what they know, all in the middle of a busy classroom? This class will dive into how to combine the LAMP methodology with classroom and academic expectations. We will discuss how to use state standards with the varying types of needed vocabulary in an engaging way. Different strategies and tools for how we look at and teach academic, core and fringe vocabulary will be addressed.

Prior attendance of a 1-Day LAMP class is helpful, but not mandatory.”
