SETC class
“This 3 part series will be jam-packed with practical examples of literacy and communication strategies for students with complex communication needs and complex bodies. Pairing these with engaging children’s books varied for age and interest, we will show you how you can implement your own student-directed, March Book Madness theme any time of the year! Bringing fun and meaningful literacy activities to your students. We’ll talk about everything from using alternative pencils for writing, writing alternative story endings to embedding low tech eye-gaze into shared reading activities. You will leave with practical ideas, research-based constructs, and a comprehensive literacy plan for your own Book Madness season!”
