This course will provide an overview of how to approach making assistive technology decisions for learners with CVI.  Participants will gain an understanding of what constitutes assistive technology and the role of assistive technology in the IEP.  We will also cover an approach to assistive technology evaluation using the SETT framework and unique considerations for students with CVI.  Participants will also learn about the Quality Indicators for Assistive Technology Services and how those can be used by teams to help evaluate the effectiveness of their assistive technology.”
