“A MASTER PAL, or “skilled partner” of an individual who uses AAC engages in authentic and meaningful interactions. Model as a MASTER PAL is a compilation of resources that focus on supporting communication partners of those who use AAC. Participants will explore behaviors and belief systems that shape quality communicative exchanges with an emphasis on the importance of being an engaged and respectful communication partner. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their own communication partners skills and engage in plan and prioritize activities to enhance their interactions with AAC learners.”
