Title: AAC Assessment Considerations in Degenerative Disease

Description: Research suggests people with disabilities are disproportionately affected by mental health issues and due to the nature of complex communication needs, AAC users may find it harder to discuss mental health. In this one-hour session, we take a deeper dive into the need for mental health supports for AAC users and then will explore strategies that support mental health using AAC.
