“It’s time for a quick refresh of what's new with AT products. Get an overview of many products during these two days of demos.

We know it’s hard to keep up with all the latest features and product announcements. We want to make it easier, so join us for AT Demo Days to keep up-to-speed with a variety of AT products.

Sessions will take place on two Wednesdays in September via the ATIA Learning Center sponsored by ATIA members and free for anyone to attend. Live sessions will have prize giveaways including a free registration to the ATIA 2023 Virtual Event.

Wednesday, September 21: AAC Technologies

• Tobii Dynavox: Tobii Dynavox: Supporting Communication and Access on the iOS Platform

  • Presenter: Patrick Brune, M.S. CCC/SLP, Senior Learning Consultant

  • Join us for a review of both communication and computer access options on the iOS platform from Tobii Dynavox. We will review TD Talk and TD Snap for iOS. Additionally, we will review the TD Pilot which provides communication and access to the iPad OS environment through eye gaze.

• PRC-Saltillo: Engage® for Emerging Communicators using Eye Tracking

  • Presenter: Shawn Malcomson, M.S.Ed., ATP, Access Product Specialist

  • This session introduces the features of Engage™, a new set of access learning activities and emerging communication pages for Accent 800, 1000, and 1400 using Empower™ software. Participants will learn about the Engage Videos and Catch Me apps designed for learning early access skills, as well as ways in which the system can be customized to support various sensory needs.

• Attainment Company: GoTalk NOW’s “Hidden Gems”

  • Presenters: Jon Karbo, Director of Software Communication; Joni Nygard, Vice President AAC Resources and Services

  • This dynamic presentation will highlight the “Hidden Gems” within GoTalk NOW(GTN) app. Quick demonstrations will include Voices, Symbol Variations, Communication Books, Template Galleries, and Expressions to social media. Even if you have used GTN for years, we are confident you will find at least one of our ‘Hidden Gems’ helpful when meeting the needs of an individual with complex communication needs.

• Tobii Dynavox: Let’s Review Updates and Features in the TD Snap Communication Software

  • In this session we will review some of the new updates and features in the TD Snap communication software. TD Snap is a flexible software that offers professionals and families a choice of AAC solutions. It comes with a set of powerful tools and resources to empower people with speech and language challenges to communicate.

The struggle to keep learners engaged has been magnified especially with those needing accommodations.
