“Have you given up on scanning because ….. ? For children with the most complex bodies and challenging situations, scanning can give them communication power and independence. To make that happen, we all have to demonstrate more competence and knowledge in (1) how to configure scanning arrays; (2) the type of scanning to target; and (3) the switches to be used. This seminar will tackle the challenges of both auditory and visual scanning with single and multiple switches in order to access a robust vocabulary in a Minspeak® system. Demonstrations and hands-on activities will be utilized.”
