“This AAC group social meeting is a creative idea to connect AAC users, their families and providers in a fun interactive video chat environment! Karanveer is an expert and very social AAC user who hopes to provide a friendly online forum to support AAC users and their families during this challenging time of hybrid learning and social distancing. We have selected some discussion topics to kick off the meetings this spring as well as the usual conversation starter questions for each session. The goal is to give an opportunity for each AAC user, family members and providers to share their feelings, experiences and ideas with the group. Karanveer will be ready to answer any questions from the participants and plan future sessions based on the needs and interests expressed by the group. Rose will take notes on a shared google doc on any resources or ideas shared that would benefit the group. Come join us!”
