“The focus of this 1-day virtual seminar will be to detail strategies and supports for successful AAC outcomes including:

• Communication Partner Training

• Descriptive Teaching

• Bloom’s Taxonomy

• Resource Demonstrations:

  • PASS Software

  • Realize Language

• Natural Polysemy Discussion

This one-day seminar, designed to be completed after "Pillars of Successful AAC Outcomes", will provide additional strategies to build upon success. Participants will learn how to develop a communication partner training program as well as how to integrate AAC with a focus on language throughout the school day. Breakout sessions will allow for interactive application of material. An overview of resources to support learning and data collection will be provided.

Participants will also have the opportunity to converse with an adult who uses AAC.”
