As school buildings closed in March 2020 due to the global pandemic, many SLPs and educators had to quickly pivot to virtual learning. This meant navigating technology to provide one of the cornerstones of AAC support; modeling! In this session, Sarah Gregory will explore tools to provide both dynamic and static display modeling on a variety of AAC systems. She will also show technology tools that can be used to incorporate AAC icons into teletherapy activities. Participants will leave with a variety of tools and strategies to provide modeling or Aided Language Input on a virtual platform.
