“Today’s students are a group of digital natives; they are competent users of technology and often adapt to new technologies quickly. By shifting our traditional model of AT implementation, focusing largely on teaching students how to use a tool, to an updated model that begins with “how” but focuses largely on “why” and “when” to use a tool, we can increase both the rates and quality of student AT use. This presentation will explore on a coaching inspired approach to creating effective AT users in early childhood through high school settings.”
