“In this session we will present a new set of quality indicators about assistive technology services for students served under the requirements of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (Section 504) in K-12 settings. Derived from the work of the QIAT consortium and from QIAT-PS, the Section 504 Quality Indicators address, Awareness of Reasonable 504 AT Accommodations, Determination of AT Needs as an Accommodation, Planning and Implementation, Evaluation of Effectiveness , Administrative Support, Professional Development and Training and Student Instruction for AT. Join us as we explore the Section 504 AT indicators and the ways that they can be used for program development and improvement.”
