"Many times, teams take a thoughtful look into exploring the features needed to support a student with communication, but once the student obtains their AAC support, teams are often not trained on what to do to teach the student to use the device and expand the student’s communication.

This webinar will start off with a quick overview on how to narrow down what AAC system is best for a student through the SETT process, and then will dive into the many tips and strategies staff and parents can use to support their AAC user.

Information will include tips on what and how to model (aka aided language stimulation), how to ask questions to promote communication (ie: descriptive teaching), quick activity ideas to encourage language, and so much more!"
