"Individuals who use AAC are all unique. They have individualized sensory, motor, cognitive, and language needs. They also have individual strengths. It can be very difficult to conduct an AAC assessment to successfully find an appropriate solution. Often times a formal, standardized approach is not appropriate. Feature matching can be a great practice to meet an individual's areas of strengths and needs to find the best AAC solution. 

If you are new to the world of AAC assessment and intervention, this introductory course will introduce the concept of feature matching and provide a few examples for implementing it with individuals who use AAC.
