"When considering assistive technology for students with physical disabilities our first order of business is to determine what tasks are vital to learning, self-care and leisure throughout a child’s day. What tasks does the student need to do that he or she is unable to do successfully? This is the driving question of AT consideration that leads us towards reducing the barrier to task completion. This webinar will provide rapid-fire resources for OTs and PTs who are charged with the task of reducing physical barriers for students with motor disabilities. Topics will address products and strategies for moderate motor deficits to significant motor deficits. Modified and alternative access tools will be addressed. Discussion and sharing of ideas will be encouraged throughout the webinar to maximize our learning.
