Modern technology has created so many new opportunities for people with disabilities to communicate with the world around them. However, many children and their families who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) rarely find opportunities to interact with other children and families who also use AAC. This monthly meeting is an informal and fun opportunity to socialize with others using AAC in their daily lives to play, chat and connect. AAC users of all ages and skill levels (even those considering AAC) are encouraged to attend. Space is limited and RSVP is required.
