What is Northwest Access Fund?
Northwest Access Fund is a 501(c)3 nonprofit and Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). Their mission is to provide funding to people with disabilities in Washington and Oregon to purchase assistive technology and achieve greater independence. They provide low-interest loans, financial coaching, and Individual Development Accounts (matched savings).
Why should I consider checking it out?
If you (or someone you know) need help funding your assistive technology needs, a loan or Individual Development Account may be something to consider.
Free one-on-one financial coaching for people with disabilities in WA and OR.
They also maintain a list of medical equipment loan closets in WA and OR which provide free and low cost medical equipment on a long-term loan basis.
